Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, or related financial/operational role
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with Argus Intelligence/Enterprise, Power BI, Yardi, OneSite, Yieldstar, CoStar preferred
- Basic knowledge and understanding of AI platforms preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a process-oriented mindset and an ability to build scalable reporting systems

General Responsibilities
Asset Management Analyst – Commercial & Multifamily Real Estate
The Asset Management Analyst will support the asset management team in optimizing the financial performance, capitalization, and strategic direction of residential multifamily and commercial properties within the company’s portfolio. This position provides exposure to the full lifecycle of institutional real estate investments—from development and stabilization through operations, refinancing, and disposition—and plays a key role in tracking, analyzing, and communicating asset performance to management, investors, and other stakeholders.
Portfolio Management & Asset Strategy Support
- Support execution of asset management strategies for residential and commercial properties to drive NOI growth, asset value, and investor returns
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across the portfolio, including occupancy, rent growth, expense ratios, and variance to budget
- Assist in the development and implementation of standardized reporting processes to monitor individual asset performance and communicate leasing, financial, and operational trends to senior leadership
- Coordinate with property management teams to collect and validate financial and operating data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting
- Support the transition of assets from development through lease-up and stabilization by assisting in revenue management strategy, lease-up pacing, and business plan adherence
- Prepare internal presentations, benchmarking analyses, and variance summaries highlighting performance trends and key risk/return drivers
Financial Analysis & Capital Stack Support
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and cash flow projections for assets under management within Excel and ARGUS
- Support analysis of capital structures, refinancing opportunities, and alternative financing solutions
- Perform historical and forward-looking partnership-level return analyses, including net profits, levered/unlevered IRR’s, equity multiples etc.
- Prepare packages for debt and equity raises, communicating future asset performance and profitability
Operational Oversight & Reporting Infrastructure
- Enhance internal systems and processes for monitoring performance at both the property and portfolio level, leveraging existing internal systems and AI
- Coordinate monthly operating review calls with property management teams, compiling KPIs and key variances for management discussion
- Partner with accounting and operations to ensure consistency between financial statements, operating reports, and performance summaries
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential issues in property operations, escalating findings and proposed solutions to the Asset Manager or senior management
- Maintain shared drives, data rooms, and trackers to ensure transparency and institutional organization across the portfolio
Market Research & Relationship Management
- Conduct market research to monitor submarket and asset-specific trends and economic indicators
- Prepare quarterly and annual market summaries to inform portfolio and asset-level decision making
- Track and summarize key market intelligence gathered from brokers, lenders, and research reports

Investor, Broker & Lender Coordination
- Prepare materials for investor updates, portfolio reviews, and lender communications
- Coordinate with brokers, property managers, and other third-party partners to compile and deliver operational and financial reporting packages
- Support senior team members in maintaining relationships with external stakeholders by managing deliverables and follow-ups during acquisitions, sales, and refinancing
Acquisitions & Dispositions Assistance
- Support underwriting of new, stabilized MF acquisitions using publicly available data and benchmarking off existing assets under management
- Assist in preparing disposition materials, data rooms, and broker coordination for assets being marketed for sale
- Analyze historical performance and business plan execution to inform future acquisition and disposition strategies
Risk Management & Compliance
- Assist in reviewing lease abstracts, management agreements, commission agreements and other legal agreements to mitigate risk and ensure consistency with asset business plans
- Lead lender and investor reporting, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and timely
